Dworshak Reservoir

We camped here on Memorial Day weekend because it’s warmer here than at home. It was a very family-friendly campground. Jack ran into a teammate from his baseball team, and there were a bunch of kids biking and throwing the ball around at the campground. There was a volunteer with a huge telescope at the campground, and we all got to view Saturn and the moon.

David rented a kayak from the park campground, since we only own 2 kayaks, and we all wanted to explore the reservoir together. We played Moscowopoly (my super cool custom-made Monopoly) and hung out by the fire at night. A mellow but nice way to spend what’s normally a cold, wet weekend in this part of the world.
