Leavenworth…Washington’s Bavaria

Leavenworth is way cooler than I imagined it would be. I was expecting it to be a little cheesy I guess. The Bavarian theme of the town is done very tastefully, in my opinion, and the area surrounding Leavenworth is beautiful. Unfortunately the trails are pretty crowded, but that’s to be expected when you’re so close to Seattle.

My trip in pictures…

This was an exceptionally cool yet very expensive campspot at Icicle River RV Park. It wasn’t walking distance to downtown, hot tub had very limited hours, and the staff was rude, but I’d still be willing to stay here again, because of this spot by the river.

Went to a library sale, a craft fair and every downtown store. I had fun shopping here.
